Gilbert-based, Butthead Covers, one of the leading head cover companies in the golf industry, recently unveiled their new product line Have a Heart!
Alice Scott, co-founder of the Butthead Covers with husband, Danny Scott, said, “People have been inquiring for months about patriotic head covers to show their support for loved ones and our country.” Michael Schieffer, chief designer for Butthead Covers, took their suggestions to heart and designed the one-of-a-kind Flag Heart. Depicting the American Flag in the shape of a heart, this heart-warming head cover will be available soon.
Currently offering over 80 unique designs the award winning Butthead
Covers made an impact on the market immediately by winning the “Best
New Product Award” for accessories at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show. They successfully launched the “Tiny Hiny Line” in 2006 for putters and
hybrids and have been building momentum ever since.
By using whimsical head covers, Butthead Covers promises to turn golf “upside down”, while contributing to charity events.
Scott said customers have also repeatedly requested a line of head
covers donned with personal photos that reflects a pet, idea or joke
about a family member, friend or team member. For years, the response
from the golf industry has been negative unless huge quantities were
ordered. Butthead Covers’ creative team has again taken a position of
leadership, by connecting the dots.
 At the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show
(Booth #2819), Butthead Covers will unveil a prototype for the True
Heart personalized “photo” head cover. This cover will validate
memorial tournaments as tee prizes in a truly heartfelt way. Any logo,
saying or picture can honor any cause.
Feedback will be requested to finalize the product which is expected to be available by May, 2008.
