Oakcreek Country Club, a semi-private facility, is perfectly set in the unchanging magnificence of the world renowned Red Rock Country and promises golfers a bona fide test of their playing abilities while simultaneously providing them an abundance of pleasing, visual memories.
Remarkable, well-manicured, picturesque, lush, green, etc. are all appropriate terms to describe this traditional Par-72 layout. The fairways are classic, tree-lined doglegs with wall-to-wall grass and numerous bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas. The undulating greens are slightly elevated and guarded by large, swirling bunkers. Overall, Oakcreek is "player friendly", allowing plenty of margin for error but always giving the golfer an opportunity to recover.
Oakcreek is located just 90 minutes north of Phoenix and should definitely be high on any golfer's Arizona "must-play" list.
